Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Shediac, NB is seeking a capable store manager to lead daily operations, coach staff, and enhance customer service. You will oversee hiring, performance reviews, scheduling, opening and closing routines, and maintaining the store image in line with company standards.

Ideal candidates are engaging, autonomous, and team-oriented, with a friendly approach to customers. Flexible hours and a supportive, welcoming team are offered in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a retail environment.
• Strong customer-service focus with interpersonal skills.
• Wamiliar with scheduling, hiring and performance evaluations.

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to see to continuous improvement of customer service;
• plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility;
• to carry out, in collaboration with the management team, various management tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations or planning team's schedules;
• to see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean;
• to contribute, in collaboration with the management team, to maintain a commercial image that respects the Jean Coutu Group standards;
• to see to the training of employees under your responsibility.

If you don't have management experience:

• but you have a proven track record in our industry... We will train you;
• if you have experience in retail management, this is a solid asset!
