Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Quebec is seeking a store supervisor with a passion for customer service and people leadership. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, plan work schedules, and participate in hiring and performance evaluations to maintain a welcoming, efficient store.

You will ensure the store opens and closes smoothly, uphold brand standards, train employees, and foster a friendly environment that supports sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or customer service is beneficial.
• Training will be provided if management experience is lacking.

Responsibilities

• Improve customer service continuously.
• Plan, distribute and supervise work for staff under your responsibility.
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluations and scheduling with management.
• Ensure store opens and closes properly and remains well run and clean.
• Maintain commercial image in line with The Jean Coutu Group standards.
• Train employees under your supervision.

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to see to continuous improvement of customer service;
• plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility;
• to carry out, in collaboration with the management team, various management tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations or planning team's schedules;
• to see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean;
• to contribute, in collaboration with the management team, to maintain a commercial image that respects the Jean Coutu Group standards;
• to see to the training of employees under your responsibility.

If you don't have management experience:

• but you have a proven track record in our industry... We will train you;
• if you have experience in retail management, this is a solid asset!
