Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking a capable store supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service at our location. You will partner with management to hire, evaluate performance, and schedule staff while maintaining a clean, welcoming store aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail management is an asset.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the store and ensure smooth running.
• Plan, distribute and supervise work for employees under your responsibility.
• Assist management with hiring, performance evaluations and scheduling.
• Maintain store cleanliness and a welcoming commercial image per company standards.
• Lead training and development of team members to improve service quality.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to see to continuous improvement of customer service;
• plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility;
• to carry out, in collaboration with the management team, various management tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations or planning team's schedules;
• to see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean;
• to contribute, in collaboration with the management team, to maintain a commercial image that respects the Jean Coutu Group standards;
• to see to the training of employees under your responsibility.

If you don't have management experience:

• but you have a proven track record in our industry... We will train you;
• if you have experience in retail management, this is a solid asset!

Number of hours per week:

• 35 hours or more
