Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Canada is seeking a part-time store supervisor to expertly oversee daily operations and drive customer service excellence. You will lead a team, plan schedules, and contribute to hiring and performance evaluations in collaboration with management.

You will be responsible for opening/closing, maintaining store standards, and training staff to ensure a clean, welcoming environment that reflects brand standards.

• Willing to train if management experience is lacking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous improvement of customer service.
• Plan, distribute and supervise work of employees under your responsibility.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to see to continuous improvement of customer service;
• plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility;
• to carry out, in collaboration with the management team, various management tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations or planning team's schedules;
• to see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean;
• to contribute, in collaboration with the management team, to maintain a commercial image that respects the Jean Coutu Group standards;
• to see to the training of employees under your responsibility.

If you don't have management experience:

• but you have a proven track record in our industry... We will train you;
• if you have experience in retail management, this is a solid asset!
