Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to share in day-to-day operations of the center, lead a talented team, and learn valuable skills to move your career forward.

You will run daily operations in the General Manager’s absence, assign tasks, ensure excellent first impressions and high-quality customer care, and handle miscellaneous duties such as hitch installations. A high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in any form.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Manage and assign your team to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
