Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking an assistant general manager to take responsibility for day-to-day operations at our centre. You will lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources.

The role requires leadership experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. We offer paid holidays, bonuses, training, and opportunities for advancement.

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.

• Perform miscellaneous duties as needed including installing hitches and related tasks.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as, long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
