Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Newfoundland and Labrador, Carbonear, seeks an experienced leader to assist the Front Store Manager in delivering health, beauty and convenience services to the community. You will help manage people, stock and store processes to keep customers at the center of everything you do.

Focus areas include inventory management, labor planning, and maintaining store standards to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience
• Ability to drive the business and support corporate programs
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and costs
• Effective time management and prioritization
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Responsibilities

• Maintains Store Standards to optimize customer experience and store profitability
• Works with Management Team to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time
• Assists with labour scheduling and workforce management to maximize productivity
• Helps ensure adequate staffing levels to operate the business
• Supports hiring for all departments in conjunction with FSM (excluding Pharmacy)
• Drives store culture and engagement through core values
