Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking an experienced retail manager to assist the Front Store Manager in optimizing resources and driving store performance. You will play a key role in moving products from backroom to sales floor, ensuring standards and customer experience are consistently met.

You will collaborate with the Management Team to optimize scheduling, staff development, and adherence to company programs while upholding Blue Culture and core values across the team.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong planning, judgement and decision making.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and prepare for cycles and audits.
• Ability to control expenses through effective planning and use of resources.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and development for staff at all levels.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to respond to changing priorities.
• Ability to work with management to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Store Standards to optimize customer experience and profitability.
• Collaborate with Management Team to ensure standards are applied 100% of the time, including backroom.
• Assist FSM with labour scheduling and use Work Force Management to maximize productivity.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate to operate the business effectively.
• Assist with hiring in conjunction with FSM, excluding Pharmacy, and support wage administration.
• Lead by our Core Values to drive engagement and performance.
