Assistant Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager

We are currently hiring for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. This position involves working closely with the Food and Beverage team to ensure a successful guest experience. The role includes supervising F&B operations across outlets and banquets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service consistently
  • Oversee and coordinate the banquets and outlets teams
  • Build relationships with guests, clients, and promote hotel outlets
  • Ensure quality control and service standards are met
  • Lead meeting preparations and team coordination
  • Manage inventories and requisition supplies
  • Ensure health and safety policies are followed
  • Conduct meetings with staff and management
  • Maximize seating and covers while maintaining service quality
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Culinary fields preferred
  • Experience with menu costing and cost controls
  • Established relationships with local suppliers an asset
  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred
  • Proven skills in menu and service design
  • Leadership style focused on training and development
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
