Assistant Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager

We are currently hiring for a Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. The Assistant F&B Manager will work closely with the Food and Beverage team to ensure a successful guest experience. This role supervises F&B operations, including outlets and banquets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest service consistently
  • Direct and coordinate banquets and outlet teams
  • Build relationships with guests, clients, and network opportunities
  • Conduct quality control and ensure service standards
  • Lead meeting preparations and ensure meeting/function execution
  • Manage inventories and product requisitions
  • Ensure health and safety policies are followed
  • Facilitate staff meetings
  • Maximize seating and service quality
  • Coach and motivate team members daily
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Culinary fields preferred
  • Experience with menu costing and cost controls
  • Established relationships with local suppliers an asset
  • Experience in a unionized environment preferred
  • Strong menu and service design background
  • Leadership style focused on training and development
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and focus on fiscal results
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work well across departments
