Were looking for a truly welcoming Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to guide the Restaurant team in delivering a unique experience to our guests in the restaurant bar room service and banquets. With his or her sense of priorities and benevolence he or she contributes to the positive atmosphere and management of the departments operations by performing a wide variety of tasks including administrative and decisionmaking duties.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Support the Catering Manager in managing operations and supporting the department team in all activities.
  • Lead and assist employees in ensuring quality service in the restaurant and bar as well as for room service and banquets.
  • Ensure the deployment of sales strategies and promotions in order to increase revenues.
  • Ensure that food and beverage service is carried out in accordance with hotel policies procedures and standards as well as provincial laws and regulations.
  • Supervise employee training including product knowledge such as food and wine pairing.

WHAT YOULL BRING

  • Hotel or tourism training an asset
  • 3 to 6 years management or supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to multitask
  • Calm attitude even under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills
