Job Overview

Location: 1323 King St E suite 2, Oshawa, ON L1H 1J3

Salary: $17.00 hourly / 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Setting: Restaurant

Responsibilities
  1. Cook items on the line by grilling, frying, chopping, and broiling to quality guidelines and standardized recipes, and set up and clean station according to restaurant protocol.
  2. Prepare ingredients then cook and assemble dishes as indicated by recipes.
  3. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  4. Cutting, chopping, mixing ingredients, and preparing sauces.
  5. Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep costs within forecast range.
  6. Ensure that all dishes are prepared in a timely manner by restocking ingredients at workstation and meeting prep items to ensure smooth delivery.
  7. Comply with applicable sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards.
  8. Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients and products.

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Deep fryer, Grill

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods.
