Hôtel Mont Gabriel, une propriété Tribute Portfolio à Sainte-Adèle (QC), recherche un(e) comptable expérimenté(e) pour coordonner les activités comptables et soutenir l’équipe, sous la supervision du contrôleur. Poste 100% sur site, avec responsabilités de paie, comptes fournisseurs et rapprochements.

Exige un DEC ou Bachelor en comptabilité et au moins 5 ans d’expérience; l’expérience dans l’hôtellerie est un atout. Avantages compétitifs et ambiance professionnelle assurent un cadre stimulant.

Qualificações

• Diplôme (DEC) ou Bachelor en comptabilité ou équivalent.
• Minimum 5 ans d’expérience pertinente dans un rôle similaire.
• Expérience dans l’hôtellerie et restauration est un atout.
• Maîtrise des outils informatiques et des logiciels comptables.

Responsabilidades

• coordonner et soutenir l’équipe comptable (3 personnes);
• participer au traitement des comptes fournisseurs;
• préparer la facturation de groupe et suivre les comptes clients;
• vérifier et approuver les paies;
• aider à les rapprochements bancaires;
• préparer les écritures de fin de mois et d’exercice;
• analyser les écarts et produire les rapports financiers;
• valider les documents de présentation des états;
• participer à des projets financiers ad hoc.

Work Location

This is a 100% on-site position

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Controller, your role will be to coordinate, support, and carry out a variety of accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the work of the accounting team (3 employees);
• Participate in the processing of accounts payable;
• Prepare group billing and ensure follow-up on accounts receivable;
• Review, verify, and approve payroll;
• Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations;
• Prepare month-end and year-end journal entries;
• Perform account analyses and prepare financial reports;
• Analyze variances between actual results and budgets;
• Validate and prepare supporting documentation for the presentation of financial statements;
• Actively contribute to other ad hoc or recurring financial projects as needed.

Qualifications, Skills, And Competencies

• Diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
• Experience in the hospitality and food & beverage industry is considered an asset;
• Demonstrated proficiency with information technology systems;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and standard accounting software;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities;
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and highly responsible;
• Versatile with the ability to manage a variety of responsibilities;
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, solve problems, and meet deadlines;
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail;
• Collaborative leadership and a strong team-oriented mindset.
