You will monitor CCTV, conduct investigations, and partner with leadership to identify loss trends. The role emphasizes vigilance, professionalism, and quick decision-making in grocery and pharmacy environments.

Qualifications

• Valid Provincial Security Guard Licence is required.
• Understanding of Canadian law and property acts relevant to security.
• Experience with CCTV and surveillance tools; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Actively prevent theft, fraud, and policy violations by maintaining a visible and professional presence in-store
• Safely and lawfully detain offenders, following all company and legal procedures
• Conduct detailed investigations, gather and analyze evidence, and work with law enforcement when required
• Partner with store leadership to identify loss trends and implement prevention strategies
• Ensure compliance with company standards, security policies, and provincial regulations
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance tools to detect and respond to suspicious activity
