Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to help maintain a safe and secure store environment for customers, associates and vendors. The role focuses on loss prevention, safety procedures, and clear communication with leadership to protect people and merchandise.

You will conduct daily patrols, verify security equipment functions, and participate in investigations of shrink and theft. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older
• License - Security Guard License
• Authorized to work in Canada or equivalent legal status

Responsibilities

• Patrols store to maintain safety and security for customers, associates and vendors.
• Investigates incidents of shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership.
• Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures during incidents.
• Conducts or supports investigations related to theft and aligns with ethics guidelines.
• Communicates information clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
• Occasionally carries out external apprehensions in accordance with policy and law.
• Handles a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
