Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking an Asset Protection professional to prevent theft and maintain a safe shopping environment across high-volume grocery and pharmacy settings. You will investigate incidents, collaborate with law enforcement when required, and work with store leadership to reduce shrink while ensuring compliance with provincial laws and company policies.

A valid Provincial Security Guard License and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and related legislation.
• Experience with CCTV and surveillance tools; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong professional presence, integrity, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect & Deter – maintain a visible, professional presence to prevent theft and policy violations.
• Apprehend with Confidence – detain offenders safely and lawfully following procedures.
• Investigate & Collaborate – conduct investigations and work with law enforcement when required.
