Qualifications

• Valid Provincial Security Guard License.
• Basic understanding of Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest; familiarity with CCTV/surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

• Deter, detect and apprehend for theft and fraud within retail locations.
• Collaborate with APRs to investigate ORC cases when they arise.
• Collaborate with local police regularly.
• Conduct internal investigations; present evidence for court/arbitration.
• Identify shrink opportunities within operations and compliance.
• Build and maintain partnerships through meetings; coach staff on AP policies.
• Participate in store audits and community events.
• Work a variety of shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends).
