The role emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, regular asset audits, and reporting on utilization and performance to optimize value and reduce risk. A strong eye for detail and organization is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience in IT asset management, IT support, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and licensing agreements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency Microsoft Excel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong Time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with procurement to acquire IT assets according to organizational needs and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and asset details.
• Coordinate with IT support for proper installation, configuration, and operation of assets.
• Maintain an efficient IT asset tracking system and conduct regular audits.
• Monitor asset utilization, availability, and performance and report findings.
• Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
• Coordinate maintenance and upgrades for assets to extend longevity.
• Document assets comprehensively and generate status reports.
