Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is hiring Assemblers/General Labourers for ongoing work in Southern Ontario. You will work 12-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with a focus on efficient assembly and material handling.

Salary is $25.00 per hour before overtime, with hotel accommodation provided when required and a $30 diem plus travel up to 4 hours when lodging is required. Contract duration ranges from 1 to 120 days.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs
• Ability to load and unload product
• Daily inventory counts
• Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• High School graduate or GED equivalency.
• The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
