Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring Assemblers/General Labourers for upcoming work in Southern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts 5 days per week. You will earn $25.00 per hour before overtime, with hotel accommodation provided when lodging is required and a $30 diem.

Travel up to 4 hours may be required. Duties include assembling parts, loading/unloading trucks, packing and unpacking orders, stocking product, and assisting with shipping and receiving.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and follow safety rules.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload product safely.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to assemble parts & components
• Assist with loading and unlading trucks
• Pack and unpack orders
• Stock Product
• Assist with shipping and receiving

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs
• Ability to load and unload product
• Daily inventory counts
• Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• High School graduate or GED equivalency.
• The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
