Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring Assemblers/General Labourers for upcoming work in Southern Ontario. The role involves 12-hour shifts, five days a week, with a base of $25.00 per hour before overtime and travel accommodations when lodging is required.

Hotel accommodations are provided when needed, plus a $30 diem and travel up to 4 hours for lodging-required assignments. Candidates should have manufacturing experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

You will earn:

• Contract duration 1-120 days
• Hotel accommodation provided (when required)
• $30 diem (when lodging required)
• Travel up to 4 hours (when lodging required)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unlading trucks

• Stock Product
• Assist with shipping and receiving

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs
• Ability to load and unload product
• Daily inventory counts
• Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• High School graduate or GED equivalency.
• The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
