Job summary

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring Assemblers/General Labourers for upcoming work in Southern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts 5 days per week. You will earn $25.00 per hour before overtime.

Contract duration 1-120 days, with hotel accommodation provided when lodging is required and $30 diem plus travel up to 4 hours when lodging is required. Duties include assembling parts and components, loading/unloading trucks, packing/unpacking orders, stocking product, and

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Load and unload product and stock inventory.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

• Daily inventory counts
• Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• High School graduate or GED equivalency.
• The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
