GardaWorld Cash Services in Terrace, BC is hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporters. This casual role offers starting wages of $21.32/hour, free training, full uniform, and a safe, dynamic work environment. On-call evenings, nights and weekends are possible, with opportunities for career growth within a global security leader.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Restricted and Non-Restricted PAL licenses.
• Must hold a Class 5 driver’s license with a maximum of 6 demerit points.
• Must possess a British Columbia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Available to work on-call evenings, nights, weekends with no minimum guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform pickups and deliveries of values safely and efficiently for each client.
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (ATM) from various financial institutions.
• Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers.
• Follow established routes and schedules closely.
• Drive an armored vehicle and maintain road safety at all times.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle.
• Complete daily reports and paperwork.
• Distribute and receive moneybags, receipts, route guides and keys to colleagues.

We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporter’s for our Cash Services division at our branch in Terrace, BC.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
• Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys to fellow Armed Driver/Messengers
• Verify bulk orders received from the vault, other departments, and external sources
• Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorldCash
• Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for

• Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
• Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
• Possess a British Colombia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired
• Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
• Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

Successful candidates will be required to complete a free training as required by the Federal Government for this role.
