Graveyard shift differential

Job summary

GSL Group in Delta, BC, is seeking an Ice Facility Operator to maintain the refrigeration plant and arena systems. You will operate and drive the Zamboni and adapt to varying shifts to ensure smooth operations during games and events.

The ideal candidate holds IFO/RO certification or 4th–5th class Power Engineer, with strong mechanical aptitude and arena experience; training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Valid IFO or RO certification, or 4th–5th class Power Engineer.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; arena experience preferred.
• If no IFO/RO, training will be provided.

• Operate and drive the Zamboni.
• Work varying shifts with graveyard shift differential.

Qualifications

• Certification as Ice Facility Operator (IFO) or Refrigeration Operator (RO), or 4th–5th class Power Engineer.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in an arena is preferred.
• For those without IFO/RO, strong mechanical aptitude, relevant experience, and a positive can‑do attitude; training will be provided.
