Job summary

Autism Services in Canada is seeking a flexible Facilities Support to perform daily building maintenance, cleaning, ice-plant related tasks, and shift work evenings and weekends. You would operate the Zamboni during games and practices, clean bathrooms and dressing rooms, refill supplies, sharpen skates, and keep the ice plant and records up to date.

No experience is required, but it is considered an asset; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate Zamboni during games and practices
• Clean all bathrooms on lower level
• Clean common areas including bleachers
• Clean Dressing Rooms after each use
• Replace paper towel and toilet paper
• Sharpen Skates
• Shovel snow from around all doors after every snowfall
• Keep all doors free of ice at all times
• Keep Zamboni room clean
• Empty garbage and recycling
• Building maintenance
• Maintain maintenance logs
• Weekly ice edging
• Change Ice Plant Filter
• Regular ice maintenance
• Regular maintenance for ice plant
• Keep ice plant records
• Shift work evenings and weekends will be required
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Facilities Manager
