Job description

Join to apply for the Area Sales Manager (Atlantic Canada) role at Stellantis.

The Area Sales Manager (Atlantic Canada) will be based in Atlantic Canada, reporting to the Eastern Business Center Sales Operations Manager.

The Area Sales Manager will manage all new vehicle retail sales, vehicle shipments, customer satisfaction, and profitability targets for the assigned retail area. The successful candidate will act as the face of the company for all day-to-day management activities with the dealers within the area.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement retail merchandising strategies with dealers within the area
  • Ensure understanding and coordinate implementation of regional and national retail programs and merchandising activities to meet sales targets
  • Provide market intelligence to develop industry-leading retail merchandising activities and programs
  • Communicate allocation requirements and perform forecasting to meet wholesale targets
  • Monitor dealership operations and performances to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and monitor performance improvement plans with dealers
  • Assist dealers in their EV Readiness initiatives
  • Coach dealers to excel in Customer Experience
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Must reside in the market and be able to travel regularly within the area
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in automotive
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong decision-making and negotiation skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Bilingual in French and English
