Reporting to the VP of Financial Services, you will be part of our Leadership team leading a group of 10-12 Financial Services Account Executives. You will develop strategies and motivate your team to achieve established sales targets, using sound business practices that align with Western’s sales, service, and management standards. This role is ideal for an experienced Life Insurance Sales Representative looking for the next step in their career progression.

Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Communicating and rolling out organizational initiatives, leading your team through the impacts of changes in the business
  • Engaging, representing, and building relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Supporting sales staff in applying proper procedures with financial products
  • Conducting coaching sessions with direct reports focusing on development needs and providing guidance as needed
  • Collaborating with other business areas to align business support with operational directives
  • Leading and promoting the long-term sales strategy for the company’s product offerings
  • Guiding and delivering the customer experience program in supporting the goal of continuously improving NPS scores
  • Continuing self-development through industry and community involvement, training, and other courses

The value you bring

  • 3-5 years of progressive industry and general business experience
  • Life License (LLQP) is required
  • Proven track record of exceeding business goals and targets; leadership experience an asset
  • Superior selling and sales management skills
  • Involvement in industry-related associations and your community
  • Experience in recruitment, staff development, and performance management an asset
  • Professional communication etiquette, both written and verbal

Location : Remote anywhere in Canada – Up to 40% travel

Salary Range : $75,000 - $112,000
