Rogers Communications, Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking an Area Manager for the Field Sales Team. You will lead the residential and wireless sales staff, drive monthly, quarterly and yearly targets, and report to the Sr.

Manager, Field Sales. This role requires a minimum of 5 years in telecommunications or related industry, prior supervisory experience, strong coaching and leadership skills, and a valid driver’s license with some travel.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales background; 5+ years in telecommunications or related industry preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience and leadership skills.
• Strong coaching and team-building abilities.
• Valid driver's license; travel within the region may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop internal sales staff to meet quotas for residential and wireless services.
• Motivate, inspire and provide strong leadership to sales staff.
• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Oversee Sales Reps conducting door-to-door, in-home presentations, and events.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with other departments and Rogers companies on projects and issues.
• Document best practices and evolve the team continuously.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility values.
