QRC Logistics in Halton Hills, Ontario is seeking a Shipping & Packing Supervisor to lead outbound fulfillment operations for a major ecommerce account within our high-volume 3PL distribution centre. This true operational leadership role demands performance, people management, and accountability across the operation.

You will oversee Team Leads and Associates, own shipping performance, and protect and grow a strategic customer relationship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years warehouse/distribution experience
• 5+ years in a true supervisory or leadership role
• Experience in 3PL, ecommerce, or high-volume fulfillment
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
• Strong knowledge of shipping, packing, and fulfillment operations
• Experience with WMS systems and RF scanning

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop packing & shipping team leads and associates.
• Own daily outbound execution, ensuring all orders ship accurately and on time.
• Set clear expectations and hold team accountable to performance standards.
• Drive a culture of urgency, accountability, and professionalism.
• Oversee parcel and freight shipping (UPS, FedEx, Purolator, LTL) and ensure SLA requirements are met.

This is a true operational leadership position responsible for performance, people, service execution, and accountability across a critical ecommerce operation.

You will lead Team Leads and Associates, own shipping performance, and play a key role in protecting and growing a strategic customer relationship.

What You Will Own

Operational Leadership

• Lead, manage, and develop Packing & Shipping Team Leads and Associates
• Own daily outbound execution, ensuring all orders ship accurately and on time
• Set clear expectations and hold team accountable to performance standards
• Drive a culture of urgency, accountability, and professionalism

Performance & Accountability

You will be responsible for:

• Ship-on-time performance
• Order accuracy
• Labour productivity and efficiency
• Packing quality and damage prevention
• Shipping execution and carrier performance

Shipping & Fulfillment Execution

• Oversee parcel and freight shipping (UPS, FedEx, Purolator, LTL)
• Ensure all shipments meet strict customer and SLA requirements
• Act as escalation point for operational and service issues

Team Development

• Coach, mentor, and develop frontline leaders
• Build bench strength and future leadership
• Address performance issues professionally and effectively

Continuous Improvement

• Identify inefficiencies and fix them
• Improve productivity, workflow, and operational execution
• Help scale operations as the business grows

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years warehouse / distribution experience
• 5+ years in a true supervisory or leadership role
• Experience in 3PL, ecommerce, or high-volume fulfillment
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
• Strong knowledge of shipping, packing, and fulfillment operations
• Experience with WMS systems and RF scanning
