Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Manager to lead the department, grow the Aquatics program, and manage staff, budget, and safety across facilities. You will oversee swim programs, lessons, teams, and instruction while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires 2 years in customer service, coaching/instruction, lifeguarding, and supervisory/management experience, plus lifeguard and CPR certifications. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years of coaching and/or swim instructor experience.
• 2 years of lifeguarding experience.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supports all Aquatics Team Members.
• Completes daily inspections to ensure pool area is clean and safe.
• Facilitates lifeguard training on pool safety and rescue techniques during monthly in-services.
• Assesses performance, provides feedback, and coaches Aquatics Team Members.
• Manages the aquatics department within the budget guidelines.
• Formulates, monitors and reconciles the budget and financial reports for aquatics programs.
• Sets the standard for the Aquatics Department by providing exceptional customer service and meeting the Members’ needs and expectations.
