Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to maintain safety across indoor and outdoor pools, monitor decks, and assist with events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza.

The role emphasizes safety-mindedness and strong customer service in a fast-paced club environment. Responsibilities include greeting Members, rescuing swimmers in danger, enforcing safe swim areas, and maintaining a clean pool area.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first)
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute
• Ability to swim, retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim the brick to the top without stopping
• Ability to routinely bend to raise more than 20 lbs
• 6 months of customer service experience

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.60 and pays up to $22.00, based on experience and qualifications.
