Job summary

Movati Athletic Inc. is seeking Lifeguards to deliver best-in-class water safety and coaching in a welcoming club environment.

You will provide supervision, respond to emergencies, and ensure pool rules and safety procedures are followed while delivering exceptional member service and building relationships with members. The role requires current Lifesaving Society Instructor (LSI) certification, Standard First-Aid and CPR-C, and flexibility for morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Related Lifeguarding experience is required.
• Current Lifesaving Society Instructor (LSI) certification is required.
• Standard First-Aid and CPR-C are required and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to react calmly in emergency situations.
• Basic understanding of pool operations and water chemistry.
• Flexibility regarding assigned work hours, including morning, days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations and perform rescue techniques and first aid.
• Maintain constant surveillance of members and guests in the pool and on the pool deck.
• Ensure that all safety and lifeguarding procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure members adhere to pool conduct rules and guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to meet the diverse needs of members.
• Build and sustain relationships with new and existing members.
• Stay current on Lifeguarding and safety techniques, to enhance performance.
• Proactively address any member concern or issue related to pool safety and/or elevate them to the Operations Manager.
• Accountable for maintaining and upgrading certifications.

The Role
Our Lifeguards are responsible for providing best in class water safety, knowledge and coaching to participants. You will also:

Hourly wage range: $17.60 - $22.50/hour.

• The posting is for an existing, currently open position.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
