Job description

The Automotive Mechanic Apprentice role is designed to provide hands-on training and practical experience in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on diesel trucks and construction-related automotive equipment. This position aims to develop the apprentice's technical skills under the guidance of experienced mechanics, ensuring they gain comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, suspension, fuel, and electrical systems. The apprentice will contribute to maintaining vehicle safety and performance standards, supporting the operational efficiency of construction projects across Quebec. Over time, the role prepares the individual to become a fully qualified automotive mechanic capable of independently handling complex repairs and maintenance tasks. The ultimate goal is to build a skilled professional who can ensure the reliability and longevity of automotive assets critical to the construction industry.
