Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking two apprentices to join our Swift Current, SK team. You will assist Heavy Equipment Technicians with troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on CAT equipment, contributing to customer service commitments and team success.

We offer a structured apprenticeship path toward Heavy Equipment Technician Certification, with a 7x7 continuous shift. Grade 12 and mechanical aptitude are required, with equal opportunity and a commitment to safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and mechanically inclined.
• Completion of grade 12 (Physics, English, and Math) is required.
• Willing to work towards Heavy Equipment Technician Certification (Red Seal).

Responsibilities

• Assist Heavy Equipment Technicians with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all heavy duty equipment and/or related equipment in a timely fashion.
• Work as part of a team to meet Finning customer service commitments.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Understand and adhere to all Finning policies, including Code of Conduct and Safety.
• Ensure all service documentation and billing is accurate and properly recorded.
• Other related duties as required.
