Job summary

PTW Energy Services is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team on diverse construction projects in Western Canada. The 1st–4th year Electrical Apprentice will work with Journeyman electricians to deliver safe, high‑quality electrical installations that meet client needs.

You will read drawings and P&IDs, install motors and PLCs, and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and OHS standards while staying flexible for shift work and overtime.

Qualifications

• Indentured 1st–4th year Electrical Apprentice under provincial rules.
• Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Certified in H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020.
• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Strong safety focus and good communication skills.
• Flexible for shift work, overtime, and weekends.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Capable of working in heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical codes.

• Support three-phase systems and motor terminations.

Role Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team on various construction projects. The Apprentice is a 1st4th year Electrical Apprentice with relevant industrial or commercial experience who is committed to delivering safe, high-quality work that meets client needs. This role requires strong attention to detail, and a focus on safety, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation of industrial electrical systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.63-$38.25, commensurate with experience and certification
• Travel Allowance: 6 hours per shift
