Job summary

PTW Energy Services seeks a 3rd- or 4th-year Apprentice Electrician to join our Edson, Alberta team on industrial construction projects. You will install, maintain, and test electrical systems on site, with responsibilities including interpreting drawings and ensuring code compliance.

Candidates must be willing to travel within a 100 km radius of Edson and may receive a Living Out Allowance (LOA) if eligible. A strong safety record and flexibility for shift work are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be an indentured 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice or Journeyperson Electrician.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Certifications include H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid, CSO, AWP/EWP, ESTS and CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends; safety-focused.
• Ability to work in heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
