Job summary

ATCO Structures Kamloops is looking to hire an Apprentice Electrician to join our Kamloops Manufacturing Plant. Under the guidance of a Lead Hand or Journeyperson, the Apprentice Electrician is responsible for the wiring of modular units from rough to finishing.

This role offers a Monday–Friday day shift with an indoor manufacturing facility, opportunities to work on exciting modular projects, and a safety‑driven, diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice Electrician actively pursuing Journeyperson status.
• Experience with modular units is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and or wiring modular units from rough-in, to finishing
• Assisting in and or installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
• Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units.
• Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop.
• Use hands and power tools.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• Registered Apprentice Electrician
• Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
