Job summary

ATCO Structures & Logistics Ltd in Kamloops is seeking a Roofer (Construction Worker) to join our manufacturing facility. You will install, repair, and replace roofing systems on modular buildings, working at heights with a strong safety focus.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with EPDM, TPO, and shingles, and can read blueprints while maintaining high-quality workmanship in a clean, controlled environment. Monday–Friday day shifts and benefits offered.

  • Knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and techniques.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Physically fit; able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Fall Arrest Safety Training.

Responsibilities

  • Install roofing materials according to manufacturer specifications
  • Gather material needed for assembly of units, Installation of small finishing items
  • Pre-assembly of components, read and interpret blueprints
  • Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation
  • Install underlayment, flashing, drip edges, vents, and ridge caps
  • Measure and cut roofing materials to fit roof structures
  • Repair or replace damaged roofing components
  • Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing
  • Follow safety procedures and use fall-protection equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Use hand and power tools safely
  • Other duties as assigned

We are looking for a Roofer (Construction Worker) to join our manufacturing facility in Kamloops.



Reporting to the Lead Hand, the Roofer installs, repairs, and replaces roofing materials systems on modular buildings. The role demands working at heights, physical endurance, a strong focus on safety, and attention to detail to ensure roofing systems are weather‑resistant and meet all building code requirements.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Install roofing materials according to manufacturer specifications


  • Gather material needed for assembly of units, Installation of small finishing items


  • Pre-assembly of components, read and interpret blueprints
