Job summary

ATCO Structures is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our Kamloops Manufacturing Plant. The role focuses on wiring modular units from rough-in to finishing, with emphasis on reading drawings and ensuring quality and safety.

You will work with hand and power tools in a team environment, installing wiring, panels, and fixtures while adhering to electrical code specifications and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with relevant modular unit experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with wiring modular units and electrical panels.
• Comfort working with hand and power tools.
• Strong team player committed to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and or wiring modular units from rough-in, to finishing
• Assisting in and or installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
• Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units.
• Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop.
• Use hands and power tools.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

ATCO Structures & Logistics is looking to hire a Electrician Journeyman to joinour Kamloops Manufacturing Plant. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible forthe wiring of modular units from rough to finishing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting and or wiring modular units from rough-in, to finishing
• Assisting in and or installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
• Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units.
• Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop.
• Use hands and power tools.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

• Journeyman Electrician
• Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
