Job summary

Société Générale Canada, part of Global Banking Technology & Operations, is seeking an experienced support engineer to bolster market risk and collateral services. You will contribute to DevOps initiatives, provide day-to-day production support for critical applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills with SQL/Unix and experience with relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical expertise and operational support to obtain highest production stability for critical applications.
• Assist with identifying and implementing areas for improvement within operational and technical processes and maintain related documentation.
• Maintain development build environment (CI/CD, containerization, …) and ensure vulnerabilities are handled within SLA.
• Work with Application Development teams to implement fixes and improve stability.
• Document, implement and adhere to operational and technical standards, processes, and procedures.
