Our Ideal Candidate

Allnorth seeks a RFO Central – Application Specialist to join our team in Calgary or Edmonton. RFO Central is a web application that maintains data integrity throughout the project lifecycle by documenting and progressing project completions and turnovers. This software is used in industries including Oil & Gas, Mining, Petrochemical, and Commercial Construction. You will become an expert in implementing this software for our clients and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a Technical diploma or relevant trade certificate (instrumentation, power engineering, electrical, millwright) and 5+ years of field experience in an industrial setting.

A Day in the Life
  • Work with clients, including presentations, demos, and training.
  • Build relationships with clients and participate in business development.
  • Manage your time effectively.
  • Respond to emergencies and accept calls after hours if required.
  • Provide on-site support as needed, determined per project.
  • This is a full-time, permanent position, which may require outside regular hours.
  • Primary location in Calgary or Edmonton, with potential for remote work when not on-site.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • Computer literacy.
  • Database management skills (SQL, Power BI, PowerQuery, etc.) are assets; training provided.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, SharePoint, Excel, Access).
  • Experience with turnover and completion processes.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures.
  • Understanding of plant processes.
  • Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometrics, etc.
  • Strong communication skills for technical information.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
