Job summary

Grundfos in Oakville, Ontario, is hiring an Application Engineer to join the CSSC Back Office in a hybrid role. You will provide advanced technical support and guidance throughout the customer journey, prepare accurate technical quotations, and coordinate tenders and projects with internal stakeholders.

Requirements include a engineering degree with 3–5 years in a similar role, proficiency in SAP CRM/SD and Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills in English (French is an asset).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience (3–5 years in a similar technical role).
• Experience estimating, opportunity and quotation management, preferably in Pumps, HVAC, ETO, or Building Management Systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP (CRM/SD).

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and technical support to customers, including product sizing, application guidance, system solutions, and pricing.
• Assist customers via email, phone and chat.
• Support the sales team by managing tenders and projects, with detailed specs, calculations and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate and administer medium to high-complexity proposals from initial approval through bid submission with negotiations.
• Deliver first-contact resolution for inquiries and determine next steps per SLAs.
• Troubleshoot pumping systems and provide technical assistance for optimal performance.
• Process special orders and coordinate with suppliers to meet unique requirements.
• Promote digital tools like GPC, GXS, MyGrundfos, Extranet, and Chat to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with product segments and suppliers to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
