Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Development Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with various trading desks to develop and maintain automated solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and mentor a team of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead a team of 10 developers in designing, developing, and maintaining automated solutions for trading desks.
· Collaborate with front office traders to build tools using a variety of technologies, including Excel, C#, Python, and SQL.
· Manage priorities and define solutions with a strategic view for the future.
· Attend meetings with traders and desk heads to gather requirements and provide updates.
· Support, coach, and mentor junior staff.
· Ensure the team delivers high-quality solutions within the specified timelines.
Must Have Requirements:
· Proficiency in Python, VBA, Excel, and C#.
· At least 5 years of experience in technical roles.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in Capital Markets.
· At least 1 year of lead experience.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with desk heads and traders.
· Experience working with front office traders and building tools in various technologies.
· Knowledge of market data platforms such as Bloomberg or similar.
· Excellent front office business knowledge in one or more asset classes (Equities, FX, Commodities, FI & Rates).
· Solid understanding of financial instruments in derivatives, including pricing models, greeks, and risk management concepts.
Nice to Have:
· Experience with additional programming languages and technologies.
· Knowledge of other market data platforms.
· Previous experience in a similar lead role within a financial institution.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
