Your role and responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, with experience in frameworks like React, Angular, and Node.js.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with mobile development for iOS/Android using Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within Agile teams.
• Good understanding of AI and GenAI concepts (e.g., generative models, NLP, deep learning), with practical experience being a plus.
• Knowledge of machine learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

Required technical and professional expertise

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools like Git.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data management practices.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Kubernetes and experience working on Linux.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Willingness to relocate to Calgary.
