In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Solid experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  3. Familiarity with mobile development for iOS/Android using Swift, Kotlin, or React Native.
  4. Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to work within Agile teams.
  5. Good understanding of AI and GenAI concepts (e.g., generative models, NLP, and deep learning) and practical experience is a plus.
  6. Knowledge of machine learning techniques and tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to optimize code for performance and scalability.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in team-oriented environments.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  1. Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools like Git.
  2. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  3. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data management practices.
  4. Understanding of containerization technologies like Kubernetes and working on Linux.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  1. Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  2. Willingness to relocate to Calgary.
