Description:

An exciting opportunity to shape the technical direction of the company’s core data architecture and strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver high-performance data solutions in a cloud-native environment. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity ideal for a Lead Data Architect to drive the modernization of the data platform, enabling advanced AI and LLM capabilities, including intelligent assistants, agents, and autonomous AI actors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize APIs and message bus integrations across applications and services.
• Lead the modernization and scalability of a mission-critical cloud-native data platform.
• Architect and implement real-time and batch processing strategies using PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Enable data-driven AI capabilities by supporting LLMs and vector databases.
• Define and enforce data governance, security policies, and architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and intelligence teams to ensure seamless data integrations.
• Build robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
• Support initiatives for next-gen AI/ML platforms through scalable, flexible architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineering teams.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Proven expertise with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and cloud-based data services (preferably AWS).
• Deep understanding of streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pulsar.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).
• Proficiency in data orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Experience with modern data transformation frameworks (e.g., dbt, Flink, Spark Structured Streaming).
• Familiarity with data mesh, lakehouse architecture, and semantic modeling.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated experience defining architecture roadmaps and implementing architecture review processes.
• University degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
