Trans Global is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to diagnose appliance issues, estimate repair costs, and complete repairs on a range of domestic appliances.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in major appliance service.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical, investigative, and analytical abilities.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Appliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Gas Technician 2 Certification and ODP are assets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliances to identify root cause.
• Estimate repair costs (parts and labour).
• Order parts and maintain inventory levels.
• Complete repairs on various brands and domestic appliances.
• Update service documentation with detailed repairs.
• Follow health and safety and departmental procedures.
• Maintain shop tools.
