Job summary

Royal York Property Management is seeking experienced Appliance Repair Technicians to diagnose and repair a wide range of residential appliances at rental properties across Ontario and beyond.

You will travel between appointments using your own vehicle, manage work orders via our mobile app, and uphold high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service while delivering timely repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paid professional appliance repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently without supervision.
• Experience repairing common residential appliances.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair common household appliances.
• Service washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, range hoods and similar appliances.
• Diagnose appliance issues before replacing parts.
• Complete repairs and part replacements within verified scope.
• Test appliances before leaving to ensure repairs are complete.
• Document model and serial numbers, repair notes, photos, and completed work.
• Report additional issues, required parts, or safety concerns.
• Use mobile work app to receive work orders and update job statuses.
• Travel between appointments using your own vehicle.

Royal York Property Management is one of Canada's leading property management companies, managing thousands of residential rental properties across Ontario and beyond. We are looking for experienced, reliable Appliance Repair Technicians to join our growing network of service professionals.

This role involves travelling to residential rental properties to diagnose and repair common household appliances. Technicians work independently, manage appointments using our mobile work app, and complete repairs while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service.

What You'll Do

• Travel between appointments using your own vehicle

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of paid professional appliance repair experience
• Ability to diagnose and complete appliance repairs independently without technical supervision
• Experience repairing common residential appliances
• Must have your own reliable vehicle
• Must have your own appliance repair tools and testing equipment
