Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose and repair a range of household appliances in the Kimberley area. You will perform maintenance, order parts, and clearly explain repair needs and costs to customers, while keeping the service vehicle and work area organized and safe.

The ideal candidate has hands-on repair experience, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Appliance Repair Technician or similar hands-on repair role.
• Strong knowledge of the mechanical and electrical workings of common household appliances.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for appliance repair.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify root causes of problems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel within the Kimberley region.

This role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers. You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective repair services, ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding the company's reputation for quality workmanship. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a dedication to customer service.
