Job summary

Swoon in Toronto, ON is seeking an experienced Appian Technical Lead to own and evolve an enterprise Appian platform. You will lead technical discussions, translate business priorities into scalable solutions, and partner with developers, analysts, and program leaders.

You will balance hands-on development with team leadership, mentor teammates, and shape the future structure of the Appian team while ensuring alignment with governance and enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on Appian experience.
• Ability to lead the technical design/architecture of Appian solutions.
• Strong communication and relationship-management with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of Appian applications.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand workflows and future-state requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable Appian solutions.
• Facilitate product-roadmap discussions and backlog refinement meetings.
• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Appian team.
• Guide developers through design and delivery decisions.
• Contribute to development, architecture, and troubleshooting when needed.
• Support transition of knowledge from partner to internal team.
• Establish technical standards and governance for the Appian platform.
• Mentor team members and potentially assume leadership responsibilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Salesforce.
